we are more active because we have alot more things to watch and different social media. We have alot more news so some sauces are less trust worthy

Personal Identity: formal and represents older and younger generation, english gent
information: they are agent and they go and solve a crime, could inform about eh upper class, could gain spies for the country
entertainment: hurmerous and interesting to the older people, new episode every week so that is something to be exited about
social interaction: talk about it to people to get them to watch it, you would be watching it as a family because there was 1 TV a house, u build personal relationship with the acto

nuclear war: they had a bunker
threat of foreign invasion: they had different uniforms in the bunkers to make them like ww uniforms

espionage: like from different countries like invasions

References to WW2: john walking around with his hat off
Humour : them making jokes and making people laugh
Melodrama: the hand over there face when they are fighting
Casting and Performance: there was a screen in the back
Commitment:

social contexts influences shows int eh 60s by using social interactions. There was only 1 TV per house so that means that people would of talked about it during the show and they would of talked about it to other people so they would watch it and they would get more views

social contexts influences shows in the 60s by Melodrama. In the film there was a few bits of melodrama, one of the was when Emma Pell was fighting she had her hand over the enemies face and she was pushing him away whilst fighting him. Another way there was melodrama was there were in a train they was boiling the kettle and that was really over exaggerated and i was boling really loud and it wasn't needed.

social contexts influences shows in the the 60s by using references to ww2. In the film there was a bit where john steed took his hat off and it was like he was saluting the fallen WW2 soldiers and he was paying his respects

Camerawork:
Shot types
Camera movement
Angle

Establishing- shows where the scene is happening
Canted angle- slightly tilted, to show something is quite used in dreams
Steadicam- keeps it steady smooth movement
Focus pull- camera stays the same but focusses something else

Mid shot, showing the whole the man got thrown down, might show the effect that whole is deep and he will hurt himself if he falls down the hole

Hand held camera might be used to move the camera quickly and it might be also used to move when the bad and the good guys are moving to create an effect

Mise-en-scene:
Lighting
Props
Location/Setting
Blocking
Casting a performance

The clothing, one of them are in a suit which is the formal and the other is a middle aged girl and she is looking fancy

Graphic match of the candle and the blacksmith

They have used graphic match in the scene where peel is missing

They have used church music in the scene where peel is in the church this connotes that the vikor is god but he isnt becuase he pulled a gun out on peel

Thursday 7 March 2024

Camerawork
Sound
Mise-en-scene
Editing

They have used sound effects to create tension in the episode like the fast music when the fighting gets more intense and that creates a bigger and more scary on what is going to happen
