LO:to research possible stories for BBC school report


 last night 3 fire engines from Bodmin fire station attended a fire at the historic, newly build Bodmin jail.

it started at 11.30 last night 

and lasted till 6.15 this morning 

3 fire engines attended last night  

PC smith said "The damage to the historic building is extensive.The clear up is likely to take weeks and the cost of rebuilding could run into millions.

2 people was taken to hospital 1 with serious burns 

police investigation continues.

LO:to write an effective news report; to practice interview questions

Two people have been injured in a 'multi-vehicle' crash which closed the A30 for most of the morning.

the carriageway was closed both ways near Camborne following a three car plie up 

the A30 southbound was closed off first following the incident at 8.15 this morning 

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said none of the injuries were serious.
